Walt Disney Pictures Sci-Fi comedy film Honey I Shrunk the Kids was released 35 years ago. The film led to two sequels, a short lived TV series, 3D attraction and giant playground at Disney parks. The theatrical released featured a Roger Rabbit short.

Legendary actor Donald Sutherland has passed away at age 88. The prolific actor is most famous for his roles as Hawkeye in the movie version of M*A*S*H, Klute, and as President Snow in The Hunger Games films. Sutherland did only one film for Disney. He portrayed CIA agent Andrew Nivens in Disney’s Hollywood Pictures division film Robert A. Heinlein’s The Puppet Masters. The sci-fi film takes him back to his Invasion of the Body Snatchers roots battling mind controlling alien parasites. R.I.P.
