3 weeks into going to the gym and eating healthy, BAM, you stop.
And then you say…
“WHY can’t I just stick with this”
“This is hard”
“Why is this easier for other people”
“What is wrong with me?”
It’s not you
It’s what diet culture has made you believe…
➡️ That, unless you’re ALL IN, eating perfectly
Drinking a gallon of water a day
Spending an hour to and hour and a half in the gym 7 days a week
Nutrition ON POINT, 100%, 7 days a week
You can’t possibly be successful in losing weight
👉🏻 That’s not true. The only difference between that person who you see as being successful (thinking that it’s easier for them than it is for you)…it’s because they are just DOING. And they are consistent ONLY because they’ve learned that they DON’T need yo be perfect to see really great change
How would it feel if you discovered that for yourself?
How would things change for you if you just chose to do something that didn’t require you to be PERFECT?

You’ve probably heard me talk about this in my Stories. It really is key to being consistent with your workouts. If you don’t like what you’re doingIf you cannot change it up at any time…even 5 years later…You’re probably not going to stick with itBoredom is a BIG reason why I don’t go to the gym anymore, and why I follow these workout routines. I rarely get bored. And when I do, I just change to something different. It’s what keeps me working out, no matter what 🎯.....#workoutroutine #workoutvideo #workouttips #workoutboredom #tryingtoloseweight #weightlossjourney

How do you overcome all of those struggles I mentioned?
1️⃣ FORGET counting calories or macros. It’s overwhelming, and chances are you won’t stick with it
2️⃣ Follow a workout + nutrition plan that gives you VARIETY
3️⃣ Do something that takes the guesswork out for you
If you need a solution that takes out the boredom and overwhelm, that you can stick with because it NOT too restrictive
👉🏻this is what I help women with.

Have you ever been given advice to not workout? Or to focus on nutrition until you’ve lost weight and THEN add in exercise?
Of course there are exceptions, but this advice usually comes from weight loss centers and programs who are peddling a VLCD (very low calorie diet)…because, when a “hormone balancing weight loss center” has you on a 500 calorie diet…yeah, you aren’t eating enough to fuel a workout (or balance your mood for that matter).
Here are 3 things you should know
☝🏻Working out (especially strength training) changes body composition (aka the shape of your body…see my before and after at the end of this Reel for it to really hit home)
✌🏻70% of people who have lost weight and kept it off workout
🤟🏻After that before picture, I was give the ok from my doctor to workout…after almost having back surgery. My body was full of inflammation…and the timeframe between the before and after is 18 months. My point? You can clearly have a lot of inflammation in your body AND lose weight.
