Kota Yamauchi and Anders Bach’s album “108”, released back in February, was just nominated for Best Interdisciplinary Release for the Danish Music Awards Jazz 2022. Salutations to Richard Andersson and Lars Greve who are also nominated in this category.

This album is a wild two hour ride of 108 tracks; 108 vignetized bursts of improvisation spanning from 1 second to 3 minutes. Every track is edited to seamlessly transition into any other track on the album, making for an ever-changing experience when shuffle-function is turned on. The nomination for Best Interdisciplinary Release is focused on the limited run hand-dubbed double-cassette edition of the album, where shuffled tracks are fixed per side making all cassettes uniquely combined. There are still a handful left, so grab them while you can via our Bandcamp site.

Album art is yet again by the amazing Yu Tsurukawa and the exquisite marathon mastering was done by Brian Mørk Hansen. Thank you.
