This Week in Photo has some fantastic news to share! Together with our friends at Flickr and SmugMug we're supporting the Grand Canyon Tribal Coalition's () noble initiative to establish the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni Grand Canyon National Monument. Imagine the breathtaking images we could all capture there!

You may be wondering why we've embarked on this journey. Well, like you, we believe in the transformative power of photography. The ability to capture a moment, a landscape, a fragment of time - it's something that connects us all. Not to mention we're , committed to preserving those precious moments and landscapes for future photographers. We're thrilled to join hands with in this mission.

We recently added our signatures to an open letter to President Joe Biden advocating for protecting the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon region. We believe in the importance of the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni Grand Canyon National Monument and its role in preserving this unique photographic paradise. For generations, the Grand Canyon, the true heartbeat of the region, has offered countless opportunities for us to bring our cameras to life - capturing everything from stunning landscapes, unique wildlife, or simply the joy of outdoor experiences like hiking, camping, and more.

We're inviting you, our fellow photographers, to join this cause. By signing the petition, you can help ensure that the Grand Canyon and its surrounding areas continue to inspire, captivate, and provide unmatched photographic opportunities for future generations.
