Big accomplishment for myself today! Hope everyone is having a great day too ❤️

Everyone help me congratulate our newest Remote Pilot, Abby Popp!! After weeks of studying, Abby successfully passed the Part 107 Exam today in Appleton! This exam is through the FAA and is rather difficult for people without a flying background, so great work Abby!

Abby joins Dan as the second Remote Pilot for DH Video, allowing both of them to capture aerial video & photos with a drone.

Special thanks to Titletown Drones LLC and Bill Bongle for all of the training to help Abby prepare!

So excited to be joining an amazing storytelling team!

Today we are super excited to announce the newest team member of DH Video .... Abby Hantke!

Abby has a wealth of experience when it comes to storytelling and video creation. Abby comes from a TV News background with 6 years as a Reporter, Anchor, and Producer, but most recently worked in a Corporate Video Role at AriensCo for the last 2 years. Abby mentioned early on that she wanted to get back to meeting people and telling stories, making her a perfect fit at DH Video!

Abby grew up on a dairy farm in Southern WI where she showed animals and was a part of FFA, and currently lives in Brillion. She is also getting married later this month to her fiance, Hunter - congrats guys! One fun fact about Abby is that she loves her puns and play on words. As a Photographer, I kept trying to include one in this post but it just hasn't been developed yet. 😉

LIFE UPDATE: Today is my last day at NBC 26. It was a tough decision, but it's time for a change and this one will help me catch up on some sleep and hit less raccoons/deer on my way to work (ha). Don't worry, I'm not going too far as northeast Wisconsin has truly become my home. I've met so many great people here and will miss this chapter, as I've been in news since 2015, but I'm excited for a new adventure. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my puns ;) throughout the years. I'll miss sharing the good news of the community, but hope to leave you with a smile.
