Did you know? Your brain releases dopamine every time you scroll to a new post. That's why it's so hard to stop!
But here's the thing - constantly chasing that next dopamine hit is like drinking coffee all day.
Eventually, you're gonna crash.
Instead: Set a timer for how many minutes you wanna be scrolling.
Actually, read and engage with posts you like.
Put your phone down when the timer ends.
Let the dopamine settle and allow your mind to reset.
Here's a 17-second video to pause and allow the dopamine to settle.
Watch with the sound on.
Trust me, your mental health will thank you later.

This time of year is a favorite for me because it means that it's time for my yearly friend date tradition of breakfast burritos and pumpkin lattes at the pumpkin patch!
For the past four years, I have cleared out the back of my car and set a tarp or blanket down for this annual morning tradition. I pick up the breakfast burritos and then go pick up my friend just as the pumpkin patch opens for the day. I grab my yearly pumpkin spice latte, and we find a spot to eat our breakfast burritos and catch up on what happened with each other over the week.
It's all very magical.
Except this year, we ran into some Google Business glitches. đ
If you've changed your hours- make sure they are updated on your Google Biz, Website & Social Pages.

There's nothing worse IMO than learning about an event you totally wouldâve gone to AFTER it happened. đ
SoâŠ.
That rad event youâre putting ALL your time into planning might not be getting people because maybe youâre not giving your community enough notice.
A friendly reminder that sometimes people might not see your invitation or post for 72 hours after you post about it đ±
Plan your posting accordingly.
I canât wait for this pumpkin patch to open for the season đ€

Annual Digital Detox- catch ya on the other side.
Less thinking- more posting.
The number one thing people come to me with is that they overanalyze what they are about to post. It's not "perfect" enough is something I hear a lot. đ
You might not be getting the kind of engagement or conversion you're hoping for on whatever platform, but the hard truth is if you never post, you will reach no one.
Less thinking- more posting.
And on my 3rd RADOversary, I rode a trolley from 1922 for Huckleberry ice cream- with sprinkles.
If youâve never ridden the trolley in Ft. Collins, Colorado it transcends time.
And the best part is that there is exactly enough time to walk from the Howe St. stop to @walrusicecream for a treat and then walk back to the trolley stop. đ
This has been on my bucket list for 2 summers now, and I finally checked it off.

Today is a VIP Marketing Day with a jewelry designer looking to build a stand-alone brand. Didn't know VIP Days with me existed, but now you do.
What is a VIP Day, you ask? Well, it's a day when we have 5-6 hours together to get your business's digital marketing strategy in tip-top shape.
During our time together, we'll identify the social platforms that best suit your business, refine your messaging, and develop a comprehensive social media and email strategy.
And even after the day, you'll have my email support as you implement this tailored marketing strategy.
Interested- I have a few openings for May, slide into my DM's.
