Hey I'm Jade. When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a National Geographic photojournalist. I had a 110 camera and my Grandmother's old typewriter. I would style my stuffed animals in different tea parties

and outdoor scenarios to take their photos. When the photos came back on the next shopping trip, I would lay them out next to the typewriter and write stories. I've been training for Instagram and other social media's organic content creation since they even existed. I built my business Maven & Muse Media grassroots style learning as I went when Instagram was for iPhones only, Pinterest required an invitation, and Netflix only mailed out DVDs. This is why I do what I do. I've been consulting with Auto TLC through the SBDC since he began his idea and he has quadrupled his income and has almost nationwide clients.

He didn't even know how to use Facebook 18 months ago when we first met, but he took mine and other advisors suggestions and DID THE WORK.

I'll spend 4 hours scrolling TikTok..but won't spend 1 hour creating content that could grow my brand

I'll drop $50 on DoorDash..but won't invest $20 in tools to streamline my social presence

I'll splurge $1,000 on a designer bag..but won't spend $500 on a strategist to sharpen my message

I'll talk for 3 hours about building an audience..but won't take 2 hours to create content that could double my reach

Think about it:
Your time and money are going somewhere. The question is—are they moving you forward?

Content Creation isn't an expense. It's an investment in your:
Future influence
Opportunities
Freedom

It’s ok to not know what to do about moving to BlueSky or any other platform.
It’s ok to not immediately (or ever) take a stand and post about world happenings on social.
It’s ok to be unsure what to do with your TikTok account.
It’s ok to not be doing 10 videos a month.
It’s ok to not hop over to whatever new platform.
It’s ok if you haven’t created a plan yet for this year.

The world is metaphorically on fire.

And…

Our human brain is made to eat berries in a cave- not process a never ending doom scroll every couple hours.

You do not need to make immediate decisions when it comes to social media.

Stop burning your berry loving brain out because you feel you need to keep up with some imaginary benchmarks.

This social media is still a made up land.

Conserve your energy for IRL.
Step away from the scroll.

I was never a big Valentine's gal until I moved to Colorado and experienced a town that goes all out for Valentine's Day.

Now, I look forward to it every year.

To me this day now represents celebrating all the different kinds of relationships in my life.

In our digital world, getting a hand-stamped Valentine in your actual mailbox hits differently. It's that rare tangible reminder that someone's thinking of you 💌

Traditional lead generation content follows a predictable pattern: Create valuable content, hide it behind a form, and collect email addresses.

But this approach is outdated and has created several problems:

Content quality has suffered as creators prioritize quantity over quality.

Audiences have developed "form fatigue" and hesitate to share their information.

The relationship begins with a transaction rather than genuine value.

Trust is compromised when the follow-up doesn't match the promised value.

When we shift our focus from lead generation to trust generation, everything changes.

Trust-first content:

Is freely available without barriers.
Demonstrates expertise through depth and accuracy.
Shows genuine concern for the audience's needs.
Builds relationships before asking for anything in return.

In an era of information abundance, trust has become the scarcest resource.

Consider this: A thousand email addresses from people who don't trust you are worth less than ten followers who view you as their go-to authority.

Trust-generated leads convert better because:

They've experienced your value firsthand.
They've had time to validate your expertise.
They approach you when they're ready, not when you want them to.
They're pre-sold on your authority in your space.
