DXPR 88.3 FM radio station of the 4th Civil Relations Group, Civil Relations Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (4CRG,CRSAFP) started operating in October 2012 as an FM station manned by 4CRG personnel under its former Group Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Erwin A Alea, General Staff Corps, Philippine Army. Located at WESMINCOMโ€™s gymnasium in Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City, the station i

s equipped with a Mobile Broadcast Radio System (MRBS) donated by the Military Information Support Team, Joint Special Operations Task Force Zamboanga โ€“ Philippines (MIST, JSOTF โ€“ P) under Captain Dane Macon Hughes which is capable of transferring, operating and airing programs outside the stationโ€™s premises, allowing DXPR to explore and widen its target audience and scope. With a frequency of 88.3, the station ran radio plugs promoting Information Support Affairs (ISA). From 4CRG compound, DXPRโ€™s radio system was transferred to the studioโ€™s current location site, previously the defunct Southern Command AM radio station which was inaugurated on 10 September 2005 by then Secretary of National Defense Avelino J Cruz Jr at the time of SOUTHCOM Commander, Lieutenant General Alberto Fernando F Braganza Armed Forces of the Philippines. Unlike other community radio stations, DXPRโ€™s primary goal is to promote the goals, aspirations and accomplishments of the national and local government units, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and other sectors. The station also functions as the AFPโ€™s primary medium of public interaction and accessibility. Commander, Western Mindanao Command, Lieutenant General Rustico O Guerrero Armed Forces of the Philippines initiated the expansion and reactivation of DXPR 88.3 FM radio station to widen the stationโ€™s coverage and enhance its technical capacity, resources and function. On 06 June 2016, Major Jerome V Cabigon (Inf) PA, Group Commander 4CRG, CRSAFP renewed the permit to operate of DXPR at the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to resume its operations for the next three years. During the renewal process it was discovered that the DXPR call sign was already taken by some other private radio station located somewhere in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. As per advice of the NTC DXPR 88.3 FM changed its call sign to DXWC 88.3 FM. With its renewed permit to operate DXWC 88.3 FM will continue to perform its role in relation to WESMINCOMโ€™s mission here in Western Mindanao.

Operasyon ng Army sa Sulu, Nagresulta sa Pagkumpiska ng Matataas na Kalibre ng Baril

Siasi, Sulu โ€” Matagumpay na nakumpiska ng 104th Infantry Battalion ng 1101st Infantry Brigade, 11th Infantry (Alakdan) Division ang mga matataas na kalibre ng baril sa isinagawang combat patrol sa Brgy. Bakud, Siasi, Sulu noong Oktubre 31, 2024.

Ayon kay Lieutenant Colonel Roy R. Dalumpines, Commanding Officer ng 104IB, nasamsam ng mga sundalo ang isang (1) M16A1 rifle, dalawang (2) M1 Carbine, isang (1) SMG BAR, at iba pang bala at magasin. Ang mga armas ay nakuha nang walang naganap na putukan o pagtutol mula sa mga may-ari.

Bago ang operasyon, natukoy ng mga sundalo ang grupo ng mga armadong indibidwal na nagdudulot ng tensyon sa komunidad. Agad na nagpatrolya ang mga tropa, at nagresulta ito sa pagkumpiska ng mga armas.

Pinasalamatan ni Lt. Col. Dalumpines ang mga mamamayang nagbigay ng impormasyon. โ€œMuling nananawagan kami sa publiko na iwasan ang pagdadala ng hindi lisensyadong baril. Serbisyo Caravan, isinagawa sa Lanao del Norte

Higit isang libong pamilya ang nagbenepisyo sa Bagong Pilipinas Information at Serbisyo Caravan sa Lanao del Norte. Sinuportahan ito ng Philippine Amry, local at provincial government units, at mga regional agencies.

Nakiisa rin sa aktibidad ang dental team mula sa 1361 Dental Detachment at ilang unit ng AFP. Ang ilang mga ahensya ng pamahalaan naman ay nagbigay rin ng health and social services. Namahagirin ng mga libreng gamot at memebership registration.

Nagsagawa rin ng mga seminars upang makapagbigay ng impormasyon sa mga residente ng Tagoloan. Meron ring libreng gupit, tuli, at dental services. Meron ring mobile library kung saan ang mga aklat at iba pang educational resources ay maaaring mabasa ng mga bata.

Ayon kay Lt. Col. Tristan Rey P. Vallescas, ang pinuno ng 7IB, isinagawa ang naturang inisyatibo sa tulong ng Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F), mga lokal na pamahalaan, at mga komunidad. Ang kampanya ay tugon sa programang Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) Management Program na naglalayong ihinto ang paglaganap ng mga hindi lisensyadong armas sa lugar.

Ayon kay Brigadier General Michael A. Santos, PA, Commander ng 603rd Brigade, โ€œAng patuloy na pagsuko ng mga armas ay patunay ng tiwala ng ating mga komunidad sa pamahalaan at isang hakbang patungo sa pangmatagalang kapayapaan sa rehiyon. Ang pagkakaisa ng mga mamamayan, LGUs, at ng mga Peace-inclined Groups ay susi sa isang mas ligtas at payapang probinsya ng Sultan Kudarat.โ€

Kasama ni Col. Ali Luis D. Macawaris, Deputy Commander ng 603rd Brigade, iprinisinta ang mga isinukong armas sa publiko. Dumalo rin ang mga kinatawan mula sa lokal na pulisya at opisyal ng barangay.

Kabilang sa mga isinukong armas ay isang M14 rifle, isang 5.56 rifle, tatlong (3) M79 gr***de launchers, labing-isang (11) 12 gauge shotguns, isang Re*****on Model 721 Bolt Action 30 Caliber, tatlong Cal .357 pistols, isang Cal .38 pistol, isang Ingram M11 9mm pistol, isang Ingram Cal .45 SMG, isang 1911 Cal. 45, isang Cal. 38 revolver, at mga bala.

Ayon kay Major General Antonio G. Nafarrete, PA, Commander ng 6th Infantry Division at Joint Task Force Central, ang patuloy na pagsuko ng mga armas ay isang patunay ng tagumpay ng programa laban sa loose fi****ms. โ€œNagpapasalamat kami sa mga mamamayan at lokal na pamahalaan sa inyong kooperasyon sa programang ito. Gayundin sa mga grupong katuwang natin sa kapayapaan kagaya ng MNLF at M**F, sa inyong aktibong partisipasyon sa kampanya para sa kapayapaan. Isa itong malaking hakbang papalapit sa mas mapayapa, matatag at maayos na kinabukasan para sa bawat mamamayan sa lalawigan ng Sultan Kudarat,โ€ pahayag ni Maj. Gen. Nafarrete.

Army, nagpahayag ng suporta sa komunidad ng MNLF sa Lugus, Sulu

Bumisita sa komunidad ng MNLF ang tropa ng 104th Infantry Battalion, 11ID sa pangunguna ni First Lieutenant Alvin Igot, Commander ng Bravo Company sa Lugus, Sulu nitong Linggo, Nobyembre 3.

Mainit na tinanggap ng mga miyembro at lider ng MNLF ang tropa, na nagpakita ng iisang hangarin para sa kapayapaan at kooperasyon sa rehiyon.

Layunin ng pagbisitang ito upang palakasin ang ugnayan sa lokal na komunidad ng MNLF at tugunan ang kanilang mga pangunahing pangangailangan.
