Brew Testament Podcast We drink beer, we read scripture, and then we tell you what we think of both. And sometimes we talk about stuff that has nothing to do with either.

John Schwehn and Joel Bergeland, your hosts, are longtime friends who have been enriched by both the study of Scripture and the enjoyment of good beer. We both live in Minneapolis as we await becoming pastors in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The format of this podcast is simple: we drink a beer, we read a bible passage, we discuss, repeat. Sometimes, we talk about things that have no

thing to do with either beer or bible. Martin Luther is said to have quipped that "the best theology is done after two beers," and even if it's historically inaccurate, we find that there's plenty of truth to it! This podcast isn't necessarily pious, and, while we do have M.Divs, we certainly are not experts on the Bible, God, human existence, beer, or anything else on the show. What we hope you get out of this podcast is an enjoyable and honest exploration of the Bible, a couple of laughs, and maybe a good beer recommendation or two. Blessings, and cheers!
