John recalls how his band Clover arrived in the UK in 1977 right as punk & new wave was taking off, and how Clover super fan NICK LOWE secured the band to back ELVIS COSTELLO on his 'My Aim Is True' album, followed by John playing on Lowe's 'Jesus of Cool' LP. PLUS, John discusses the origins of his country rock band SOUTHERN PACIFIC (which led to Jackdawg) and his current main gig (since 1980) as a member of THE DOOBIE BROTHERS.

WE'RE 3 DAYS AWAY FROM JACKDAWG LIFTOFF!

Jackdawg was a short-lived '90s supergroup which featured singer/multi-instrumentalist John McFee and drummer Keith Knudsen (both of the Doobie Brothers), alongside bassist Stu Cook (Creedence Clearwater Revival). They recorded one album (inspired by Roy Erickson) that went unreleased for two decades. Now, it will finally be with us again this Friday. The self-titled 'Jackdawg' will make its vinyl debut, alongside remastered CD and digital releases. Distribution is handled by MVD Entertainment Group (USA) and Wienerworld (UK).
