We love being part of a vibrant community and seeing such progress being made to make it stand out! Loving this news from Lois J. Fisher & Associates about the first Cardinal being installed at The Harding Centre!

Cannot wait to take a stroll in Marion to see all of these beauties. A special thanks to Dean Jacob and the entire team of people that made this artistic community project happen in Marion! It will definitely help to get even more feet on the street!

HUGE NEWS! The first Cardinal is up! We are so excited to see the progress that is being made on this project and the first installation of a Cardinal is in front of our own building (The Harding Centre) located at 267 West Center Street. Thank you so much to Dean Jacob and the many people who came together to make this a reality in our community. We are so grateful to all and honored to be a part of this.

This post is so hard to make. I've been putting it off because it doesn't seem real but I feel like it's time.
This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter Courtney and I have intentionally used it because I love seeing her so happy. As you all know, we at Finding Center have been missing Courtneys presence the last several months because she has been dealing with some medical issues. We had no idea of the rollercoaster ride we would be on.
We now know that she has Stage 3b Inflammatory Breast Cancer and many of you have seen her own private posts about her diagnosis. Our family is preparing for her to begin fighting this scary, rare and incredibly unfair disease next week.
The outpouring of support from our friends and community has been overwhelming and I know I speak for her entire family when I say your prayers, thoughts, words and gestures have comforted us beyond measure.
Wrapping my head around her diagnosis has been the most difficult thing I have ever done. As a mother, you pray your children never face this kind of storm. There is no band-aid big enough to fix it or kiss sweet enough to make it go away.

Right now the only thing I can do is hope she feels so much love around her this week. So.....

This Sunday evening, August 29th at 6:45pm, the instructors at Finding Center are coming together to teach a special, donation based, yoga class in Founder's Park for Courtney and her family to help them offset some of the costs from her treatments. If you aren't tech savy, don't worry, just show up on Sunday. We will be taking cash, check or credit card donations that evening. This will be a very gentle class- very beginner friendly. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.
