It’s my birthday eve!!! I’m pretty sure we’re picking up a pre-made cake to celebrate with tomorrow, but I am daydreaming about my favorite Piña Colada Rum Cake… 🤤

IF YOU COULD HOP A FLIGHT ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?! ✈️ This self-employed blogger-photographer life has afforded me some INCREDIBLE experiences all over the United States! And damn, do I miss it. Hoping this year will take me to some new destinations and fun outside my own backyard. First up is Chicago for the Tastemaker Conference and the International Housewares Association show in March! ❤️

I have a serious problem…I’m a habitual banana overbuyer. 🥲 Abe LOVES bananas, so we always have them in the house for snacking, smoothies, and to slice into oatmeal. But there have been so many occasions where I’ve gotten a little overzealous with just how many bunches ended up in my shopping cart. Luckily, these babies are super easy to freeze for future use in all the banana bread. 🍌💛

When you give away all the food you shot for work and don’t feel like cooking? CHARCUTERIE.

So 2021 is finally coming to an end…and while it’s not been the greatest year ever, there were a ton of bright spots and happy moments! Here’s hoping you can look back on your good times as well, and that 2022 brings us all the peace and joy we need after the last 20+ months. Happy new year! 🎆

The life of a food blogger isn’t as glam as you might think. Yeah, there’s always a schedule of recipes to be made on my calendar, but…you know how some nights you just can’t stand the idea of eating leftovers? That’s when I turn to a trusty, jazzed up bowl of INSTANT RAMEN. 🥰 And I think tonight is one of those nights!

Throwback Thursday has me wishing I was in Savannah with my bestie again! We were only there for on night a couple weeks ago with her dad, so we hopped around some new places instead of our usual haunts and stumbled on what is now our favorite place in the city, Artillery Bar! If you’re a whiskey lover, next time you’re in Savannah, stop in and tell them I sent you - and try The Doc! 🥃😘
