SubFamily Records is a low-stress, collective-style record label formed in 2017 by a circle of musical collaborators in New York’s mid-Hudson Valley (Kingston, Woodstock, New Paltz, Red Hook). In 2018, SFR will release new music by American Film History, Hiding Behind Sound, Macrofone, Peter Naddeo, Mark Donato, and “more.”

SFR 101, a sampler of songs by seven SFR artists, will be available on Ba

ndcamp on December 1, 2017. SFR’s core members are Frank McGinnis, Sammi Niss, John Burdick, Jesse Alexander, and Peter Naddeo. We are proud of where we live and what we have accomplished around here. Mid-Hudson valley people might recognize us from other projects: Frankie and His Fingers, Laura Stevenson, The Sweet Clementines, The Trapps, and Pelican Movement to name just a few. Please like us, sign up for our low-traffic mailing list, and most of all, check out some of our delightful songs.
