Charlie has been knitting for more than 40 years, having taught herself at about age ten. She began teaching her daughter, Kitina, when she was about the same age. Today they sell their knit goods on etsy and at craft fairs, mostly to support their considerable fiber habit, but also because there is only so much room in the cupboard for the endless stream of scarves, socks, gloves, shawls, sweater

s, and hats they produce while watching endless hours of British television dramas and nerdy documentaries.
