28Shorts28Juries is an online initiative for the 6th edition of Wordless International Short Film Festival’s 28 national and international jury members to discuss their views on 28 finalists! The outcome of this practice is the creation of 'The Collective of Film Juries' that consists of industry professionals including Film Festival Directors, Film Journalists, Film/TV Performers, Media and Digit
al Artists, Film/TV Directors and Producers. This platform is also utilized as a virtual space to introduce the collective and individual members to wider global screen communities. This is a strategy to inform other members, Industry practitioners and the public as well as seeking feedback about the latest projects undertaken by the collective and/or individual members. Wordless International Short Film Festival is a global screen culture event conceived in 2006 previously hosted twice by Iran in 2006 (City of Yazd) - 2009 (City of Kerman) and once by India in 2007 (City of Hyderabad). The festival content is devoid of dialogue and text capitalizing on Cinematography, sound design and editing constructions. This is a strategy to reach audiences from the entire world overcoming socio-economical and specifically language barriers. The festival will be celebrating its 6th edition in Sydney Australia during November 29-30, 2014.
