It's interesting to see the evolution in colloquial use of the word "Sick". The original meaning is of being ill and perhaps in need of a doctor. A colloquial derivative has come to mean something or someone is disgusting and possibly evil ("He is one sick puppy for what he has done."). A more recent derivative has turned the meaning on its head to express something that is impressive ("That concert was really sick). Of course, the original meaning is the literal.
