⚠️🚨👻REVIEW👻🚨⚠️

Crawford School of Terror

Crawford School of Terror used to be a school in Connellsville. It later then turned into a haunted attraction. This was our first time ever visiting here and it did not disappoint. We arrived here around 10 or so with our friends from Haunt Seekers Unlimited and actually walked through with them to encounter this beautifully done haunted attraction.

Date Visited: 10/19/2024

Location and parking:

125 N Seventh St
Connellsville, PA 15425
United States
Parking is free on site.

Time to go through: (8.50)

All together it took us a total of 35 minutes. There are 3 floors here and you start from the 3rd floor and work your way to down the basement. This is plenty of time for a haunted attraction.

Value of tickets: (9)

The ticket prices here are very reasonable as you’re getting more than $1 per minute spent in this attraction. Tickets are $25 a person.

Theme and detail: (9)

There is so much detail that goes into this place. Our favorite theme here was in the basement. we absolutely loved the barn facade that they built here and it definitely shows the dedication to the craft! We were aware about 90% or so of the basement was brand new and it definitely did not let down. Along with the rest of the attraction we really loved how well this school was put together. The 3rd floor offers a classic schoolhouse theme with your classrooms and your cafeteria. The 2nd floor here gets pretty interesting and we won’t spoil it because it does creep a lot of people out. And no it’s not clowns.

Animatronics: (8)

They had some animatronics here and they were set up perfectly. You are in for a real surprise with one in the basement. We aren’t going to go into detail with some of them as we don’t want to spoil the surprise and want you all to experience for yourself!

Actors: (10)

Well where do we start? Like holy crap! The amount of energy these actors they had was crazy. Even when we came at the end of the night their energy was still off the wall. From the queue line actors to the last actor in the house, you all really killed it! We encountered actors joking with us, laughing with us, and actors that even sang to us. We were shocked on how well each room was used for the actors.

Atmosphere: (10)

From the moment you pulled up to the school, you get that creepy building vibe. Yes, it’s an old school and it just looks creep from the outside. Upon entering the school, you even got a creepier vibe.

Entertainment: (10)

We arrived late here and they have a coffee truck, along with a food truck as well. Also they have some music playing outside and we encountered some actors that made it very fun. We encountered a lady with a skunk and we also encountered the grounds man. Yes, he was running around aimlessly with a w**d whacker. It was pretty funny and entertaining. They also do coffin rides here for $5 and we recommend it.

Customer service: (10)

The customer service here was fantastic. As always customer service is a lot of places priority and it really showed here. We were treated very well upon arrival and got to talk with the owners and general manager for alittle bit.

Scare Score: (9.25)

This place is no joke when it comes to scares. As we were startled a few times here it was great. Other people may jump alot more than us but, it was only us walking through. Also, instead of always jumping here you will be entertained by a lot of actors as well. Some of them are just down right creepy on staring at you or they say a lot of incredible lines that make you feel creeped out. Which is amazing by the way!

Overall Rating: (9.31)

We really loved our visit here and can’t wait to come back again. This is the highest rating for a full indoor haunt in Pennsylvania.

Our Favorite Actor:

The queue line actors were very good and entertaining. We really loved the girl with the skunk.

Pros:

Amazing actors, great entertainment, beautiful scenes, great props.

Cons:

Not really a con but, there are mostly stairs to walk up and down. They are well lit.

Thank you so much for having us and we can’t wait to see the changes that are made next year. Also, be on the lookout for some short videos inside of here that we took. We aren’t gonna spoil your time going through here though!

Duda’s Haunted Farm Review

Haunt seekers took the old dirt road all the way to Duda’s haunted farm on 10/18/24 located in Brownsville PA. As we entered the massive farm grounds we could start to hear the upbeat sounds of oldies Rock n roll music specifically Rob zombie. Around us was the farmers market, pumpkin patches, green houses and extremely tall cornfields, hearing them flow in the wind and making a crunching sound. The smell of wood burning bonfires and not to mention a corn pit instead of a sandbox, where you can roll around in. It gave us a feeling of being back in our childhood days of old fashioned haunted farms. The atmosphere was a perfect type of eerie. Cold and chilly, as well as having the moon shine bright as a spot light guiding us the way to our first destination which was the Hayride. Before setting off to our haunted journey we were then given the rules and approached by Roy White the mastermind of it all. The tractor than started and we headed off into the darkness. Came to a scene with a huge square box with lots of LED black lights and painted walls with a corpsed body in a doctors chair. Out came the doctor all dressed in a white coat and yelling, screaming and climbing on the rails of the hayride saying the ‘Doctor is in!’
We continued on as he followed us and vanished into the woods. The next part of the ride we entered a huge barn with red glowing and strobed lights. We stopped inside the barn were we encountered crazy insane burlaped characters with chainsaws, noise makers and don’t forget the heavy adrenaline death metal music! A clown by the name of Mr. Jiggles followed us the whole way through the end stopping at each scene. We then came up to a cabin with vines and green lighting all around it. Unexpectedly we were blasted with cold fog air by an exterminator like figure. There was so much more see. We saw a drive-in theatre, diner, gas station, it was like we were in a small little town. Many scares throughout the hayride. The next attraction was into the cornfield maze, along the way we saw scenes of mine shaft caves, a big clown house with many clown props. As we left we went further into the cornfield maze and stumbled upon a crop circle with two 12ft skeletons with red lighting all around shining on them and a group of kids all dressed in dark clothing talking to one another. We believed this was the children of the corn. They had been showing us the way out…or were they? We were trapped for about an hour and half trying to escape the children of the corn, but there was too many. Finally we had gotten out. It was such an amazing and somewhat frustrating situation. I would definitely recommend this old time classic haunted farm and hayride! You’ll have a blast.

Dudas Haunted Farm earned 5 stars from Haunt Seekers, recognized for its exceptional and iconic corn maze! Duda's Haunted Farm

Crawford School of Terror Review - On 10/19/24, Haunt Seekers visited Crawford School of Terror in Connellsville, PA, and noticed significant changes from the previous year. The queue area was completely paved to the ticket booth at the back of the building, with professional touches including light poles and sponsorship banners. After checking in, we met Micah, the manager, and owners Troy and Suzie Flesik before entering the haunted school building. The haunt consisted of three floors, starting from the third floor and working down to the basement. The third floor featured an impressive school setup with a cafeteria, classrooms, locker rooms, and libraries, promising plenty of scares. The second floor was filled with dolls, a common fear, and a creepy Big Bird from Sesame Street. The basement housed a massive new project - a huge barn with white ember lights setting the mood for mayhem. Upon entering the barn, butchers approached us. We particularly enjoyed the new fenced-in mazes featuring an actor flying overhead. To discover more, pay them a visit. This concludes the review. They are open Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with tickets priced at $25 per person. Additionally, the midway is available for $5, an excellent value.

What's Haunt Seekers' rating for The Crawford School Of Terror? The answer is 5 stars, thanks to its impressive scenes, sets, and exceptional attention to detail.

On October 11, 2024, Haunt Seekers went to the Mountain Mayhem Haunted Corn Maze. We felt welcomed and parking was very accommodating. This haunt is put on by a fourth generation to***co and cow farmers family and friends. The property has been in their family for over 100 years. This is only the third year they have been doing this haunted corn maze. And this is our second year in a row attending this amazing haunt. The maze is easily 8 acres and has many twists and turns along the path with many different haunt attractions along the way. Two of my favorite parts of the maze were the evil clowns and the other was the zombie on the operating table. It had some very intimidating characters and parts to the maze. They had a couple places that were fogged out and it was very disorienting but spooky at the same time. We was extremely impressed to discover that the actors were young people both from the family who puts the haunt on as well as some of their friends. It was a bit difficult to figure out which way to go but that is the idea of the corn maze. We spoke to the owners and they were excited about the added attractions this year and they had to work overtime as some of the props were torn down by the hurricane that blew through Tennessee. They had to work a lot of overtime to get things ready for opening night. Its obvious they have a passion for this haunt and want people to enjoy their time there. We really enjoyed the hay ride which was a trailer attached to an old tractor. The hay ride was eerie and yet a bit scary, another part I really enjoyed. The hay ride ended at a pumpkin field at which they would let you pick out a pumpkin to take home. We definitely plan to attend next year. We highly recommend this haunt. This is a family fun haunt.

Haunt Seekers gives Mountain Mayhem's Haunted Corn Maze 5 stars for its excellent management; great job! Mountain Mayhem
