Your defense as a believer

Ephesians 6:11 (KJV) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Every kingdom is as powerful as it's defense. Modern day world power countries are known for their sophisticated weapons of defense and war.

As it applies to the natural, it is similar to the spiritual. This is related to the kingdom of God by the Holyspirit in the believer.

As a child of God, having the Holyspirit, there must be a defense for the believer to protect their spirit, soul and body from external attacks.

Some attacks believers can go through:

*Depression

*Lack of passion for spiritual exercises like prayers, fastings and studying the word.

*Sickness

*Demonic oppressions

*Health challenges

*Poverty/Lack of cash

*Loss of Faith

*Fear

All of these and more can be a direct or indirect attach that can affect a believer.

But the believer must take the shield and weapons of war for defense and offense.

The best form of defense is attack, and being prepared for anything that may come.

Put on the whole armor of God, to be able to stand against the strategies of the devil.

The Whole Armor of God

*The breastplate of Righteousness

*The helmet of Salvation

*The sword of the spirit, the word of God.

*The shield of Faith. It quenches the arrows and bullets shot against you.

*The feet of a prepared heart with the gospel of peace.

*The belt of Truth round about your life.

*Praying with all prayers in the spirit.

With these, you can stand against all the devil can throw at you.

Remember this:

We are fighting a war against forces not seen with human eyes. Being a believer does not make you lazy but equips you to be able to stand against the strategies of devil. You must not allow the devil win your spirit, soul or body.

Let us Pray:

Father, I take my place in authority in the kingdom of God, and I ask for the weapons of defence to empower me in this season in Jesus name.

Prophetic Word:

May the Lord equip you and fill your heart with grace and build in you the weapons of defense to stand the agenda of the devil for your life in Jesus name.

Christ and him crucified

1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV) For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

As much as we have a lot of activities to keep up with, a lot of responsibilities, a lot of likes and dislikes, there's one thing we as humans must have in common.

We may not be different in color or in tribe, or in gender, but one thing is most important, and that is, if one has been saved by Christ.

If the work of Christ done on the cross, his death and his resurrection has become for you your salvation.

In Christ, all things were made one, all human was made one, all creature was redeemed, our newness is found in Christ.

That's the most important thing as life is concerned, and that is, have you been washed by the blood of Christ? Have you died and resurrected with him?

Have you been made whole by the workings of Christ on the cross?

This is of utmost importance beyond every other thing as it concerns life and death.

Before discriminating anyone, the idea of salvation through Christ by faith should be the yardstick to weigh the value of every life.

Remember This:

When you come in contact with anyone, the basis of your assessment should entirely be if such a one is saved by the work of Christ on the cross, for anyone who has not believed and baptised shall be condemned.

Let us Pray:

Father, thank you for your redemption, and the work of the cross for the salvation of mankind. I pray for the salvation of all men, that they might be saved in Jesus name.

Prophetic Word:

May the Lord uphold you in salvation and bring all men unto the life of Christ and leading to massive souls winning and discipleship in Jesus name.
