Kraze Patients Protest, Bite Doctors for Poor Treatment at Aro

Violent protest: Mentally sick patients for Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun State, protest say dem no like how dem dey treat dem. Dem protest violently for over two hours before police come intervene and bring things under control.

Assault on medical staff: De krase patients attack one psychiatric doctor and three nurses. They bite the Doctor well well, but nobody die during protest.

Reasons for protest: The patients dey protest say food no good, di place no clean, and no light. Dem also vex say dem no allow dem see family members wey go take dem home after dem discharge from hospital, and dem no free to move around.

Police intervention: Lafenwa Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Enatufe Omoh, talk say protesters get disagreement with hospital staff, wey lead to attack on psychiatric doctor. He say nobody die during protest.

APC Women Leaders from 37 states and Abuja dey lament say Tinubu abandon dem after dem work hard to make am win 2023 election. Dem visit APC Chairman, Ganduje, to complain say dem no get any appointment or reward from presidency, despite dem sacrifice.

Dem say dem get only one bag of rice and one paper wrapper each from party secretariat, and dem no get anything during Easter, Ramadan, and Salah festivities. Dem accuse Ministry of Women Affairs of sharing N50,000 cash palliative without giving dem any.

Ganduje say dem hear dem complaints and promise to address dem soon. Him say more appointments dey come from federal government, and dem go make sure women participate in governance.

Nigerian singer, Skales, don talk say real love no dey again for dis world. Him talk dis thing for Beat 99.9FM radio show, The Midday Show.

Dem ask am about him previous confession wey him talk say him don date like 100 women before. Him respond say him no believe in love again, except say na him mama love.

2027 Showdown: Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar Wan Collabo to Comot Tinubu

Yesterday, two big men for Naija politics, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, do meeting for Abuja. Dem talk say dem dey discuss how to make Naija better, and how to help Naija people wey dey suffer.

Dem come out of de meeting with big smiles, and dem announce say dem go work together to chase out de incumbent president, Bola Tinubu. Dem say dem go form alliance, and dem go use am to take power from de ruling party, APC.

But de question be, whether dis alliance go be enough to unseat President Tinubu? Some people say yes, say dem go bring together Labour Party and PDP, and dem go get enough votes to defeat APC. But others say no, say APC too strong, and dem go find way to scatter dem.

Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway: Na With Fear of God We Dey Demolish Landmark, Others - Minista

Federal Minista of Works, Oga Dave Umahi, don explain say na with de fear of God dem dey demolish some beaches for Lagos so dem go fit do the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

He confess on Saturday, April 27, 2024, say na many structures wey dey for Federal Government right of way dem go clear comot. Oga Minister also talk say na everybody wey de demolition affect go collect compensation from government.

He say government don give extra one week notice, and he still add another 4 days on top for Landmark before they con start the demolition.

"With utmost fear of God, tanks to God Almighty, and commitment to President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for infrastructure development, I dey flag off dis demolition. Dis place dey Right-of-Way for coastal corridor, wey be Federal Government legitimate property. "Before I start dis demolition, I add extra seven days, den another four days, and now we dey here because dem stop work because of no demolition."

Minista say him know say some people no dey happy with di project, but him talk say e dey important for economy to grow.

He promise say dem go give proper compensation to those wey dey affected by de demolition, and say dem go start de documentation process between May 2 and May 3.

Umahi still talk say him go dey available all through de week to settle any issue wey concern confirmation or payment about de demolition.
