About Us

Emma: So what is it that you actually want this magazine to be?

George: Why would you start that way?

E: What do you mean?

G: So, I think this is a way for us to showcase our own work and the work of our peers. Did you want to add anything?

E: I guess when I think about it, I think about a sort of curatorial perspective. Don't laugh at me! I’m serious. I think about the idea of being able to curate or put together work from our peers, from people who are kind of starting out and trying to put them in conversation with each other. And really build a community that is cross genre and has different perspectives.

G: Okay. I feel like this is too long already.

E: We’re going to cut a bunch of s**t out.

G: Oh we said we wanted to say it’s in New York City.

E: It is, it is, it is, we are in New York City.

G: And we wanted to call it welcoming so there's that.

E: Yeah, I guess, ideally, I would like people to feel comfortable here, and, by here, I mean this online space-thing.

G: Alright.

E: I feel like there's a lot of other thoughts about this.

G: Nope.

E: No? That's it?

G: That's it. They can skip down to the bios now.
