Not Fake News. A Little Lean to the Left

Not Fake News blogs are written by journalist Bob Gatty and a team of guest writers, with commentary about major developments that affect us all, with just a little lean to the left.

We talk about the Democrats and the Republicans, much of it directed at the need to resist the actions of the current administration in Washington. Hundreds of these blogs have been brought together in a new book, Hijacked Nation - Donald Trump’s attack on America’s greatness, which offers a play-by-play of the tragedy of the Trump presidency since the launch of Not Fake News in September 2017.

Published by Amazon, Hijacked Nation is available in a two-volume paperback set and in a single volume digital version on Kindle.

On Not Fake News, we also write about many non-political developments -- sports, human interest, family, kids -- whatever strikes us at the moment.

Not Fake News was launched because Bob tired of President Trump’s constant labeling of the media as “fake news,” his denigrating of major news outlets, and his threats to a free press, which is at the core of our democracy.

Bob’s career began as a hometown community newspaper reporter, then progressed to covering politics in two state capitals for United Press International, becoming bureau chief at the age of 26. He covered major political events, including civil rights demonstrations, national political conventions, and statewide elections.

He later launched G-Net Strategic Communications, which provided editorial and communications services for political candidates and national organizations.

Now retired, Bob keeps his loyal readers abreast of important developments in the news with insight and humor. No subject is off limits, even his tiny wife’s big feet. (Check out that blog!)
