Eduard Escoffet is a Catalan sound poet. Born in Barcelona, for more than 20 years he has been touring all over Europe and America in poetry and experimental music festivals performing his delicate yet precise and sensual poetry actions layered with repetitive patterns rooted both in techno culture and classic sound poetry. He has also organised different poetry festivals from the 1990s (PROPOSTA, Barcelona Poesia, ReVox and Poesia i +, among others). Bastida is his first solo LP. Recorded mostly during 2021, it includes vocal experiments and improvisations shaping a language landscape where voice and body meet sound poetry through the mouth, all inspired by some of his masters: Demetrio Stratos, Carles Santos, bp nichol, Joan La Barbara and Bernard Heidsieck.

Enric Casasses és un poeta del qual en sobren les presentacions. Conegut per molts en el seu vessant de rapsoda i per la seva forta empenta textual, porta fent brega des de l'any 1973 i ha estat sempre vinculat als moviments poètics més undergrounds de la ciutat. Sonhoras ens acosta la seva faceta més desconeguda en una vetllada de proximitat i de combat per la radicalitat de la poesia.

Acciones Sonhoras # 29 - Riccardo Boglione

We open the new season with Ricardo Boglione, one of the major exponents of textual and conceptual writing. Of Italian origin, he has been living in Montevideo for some time, where he has been grafted onto the South American experimental scene. He is in charge of the publishing house Gegen Press and was also the founder of the digital magazine Crux Desperationis (2011-) dedicated to conceptual writing.

For this performance we ask you to bring, if you wish, a book from home (whether you like it or not, essay, fiction, anything you like) that will "suffer" a minimal intervention by Riccardo Boglione, without it affecting the integrity of the volume or the possibility of reading, of course.

As usual, the performance will be at 8 pm and admission is 5€

Per aquesta sessió de les Acciones Sonhoras comptarem amb la propsta a mig camí de l'acció i la instal·lació de Neus Masdeu. Tal com ens descriu ella mateixa:

"F**g servir com a material la mateixa quotidianitat del context on em trobo, i intento activar dins la mesura del possible certs formats d'obra que permetin la interacció del públic. Als meus projectes no hi pot faltar mai la tendresa i l’humor, que són els pilars també de la meva vida.
M'interessa pensar i generar contingut crític a través de la societat de consum i les dinàmiques que se'n deriven, com els ritmes, els moviments, les jornades laborals, la manera de relacionar-nos entre nosaltres o com ens mostrem."

Us convidem a venir a passar una nit on l'art i el text s'agermanen entre tintes, dissolvents i papers bruts.

This is the first release of the VO### series, a sound poetry magazine with 4 LP releases each year. A manifestation of poetry and voice, sound poetry or vocal art. A joined adventure by Erratum Musical (Paris) and Sonhoras (Barcelona). Precious cut and sound edition, along with beautiful artisan work made by hand in letterpress print.

PROTOVERB is the vinyl debut LP from Chilean multifaceted poet and musician Martin Bakero - who is mainly exploring the boundaries between sound, meaning, music, poetry, trance and psychiatry. He creates all this vocal material directly, with electroacoustics and hand made electronics, then spatializes it and makes it visible and tangible. From the first creative breath, he utters sentences, words, syllables and even more and more ‘’protoverbal’’ sounds and noises, in an attempt to propose a new relationship between real and imaginary, between words and things, sounds and meaning.

This is the space where the first archetypal sounds (breath, voice, verb) embedded in human collective unconscious got a twist and spread their swirling mysterious creative energy, where music and poetry can’t be split and divided anymore.

PROTOVERB is a rare « sound poetry » record, transcending the genre and bringing very ancient pneuma practices into a fresh joy and understanding about life and how reality manifests.

Limited edition of 300 copies, numbered all of them.

Poems, sounds and music: Martin Bakero, with the complicity of Joachim Montessuis on production and mix.
Realized in Paris and Barcelona, pre, during and post covid.

VO### - la pozi sonor internazonal

Hello!

We are glad to announce the birth of VO###, a new sound poetry magazine. A joined adventure by Sonhoras (Barcelona) and Erratum Musical (Paris).

Behind the project we are Gerard Altaió, Martin Bakero, Eduard Escoffet and Joachim Montessuis.

VO### will publish 4 LP by year, with care and dedication to bring the newest voices and sounds to your ears. We will take care of doing a precious cut and sound edition, along with a beautiful artisan work by printing all covers by hand with letterpress at L'Automàtica (Barcelona).

Vinyl quality and handicraft printing techincs hand to hand.

Each LP will have an edition of just 300 copies, numbered all of them.

We are setting up this non-profit project with no economical help or funds. It will only be possible through subscriptions and vinyl sales. Our single aim is make new sound poetry visible, so all the incomes will be invested in more LP and printing production.

That's why we will like you to help us and support this magazine, making possible to keep sound poetry alive and sounding. The subscription is our system to have a community and to support us.

For just 60€ a year (only 15€ each LP) you will get 4 LP's at home with no extra shipping charge.

With susbcription you will get free pass for all live events done by Sonhoras or Erratum Musical.
