Instead of using an absentee ballot, I decided I NEEDED to go in to vote 🗳, so there's NO question that my ballot is there on time, and also so others voting the same way as I am don't get discouraged by "guesses" being made by different sources try to "spin" gloom and doom.

Missing Paris. Plan on taking one of my Little Muses to Paris next year to do a 2nd memorial for her Uncle George, her Grandmother "Kat"*, and her "big" brother that she never met. (My girls couldn't say "Katherine" as babies, so "Gramma Kat" stuck...to this day).

I promised her to introduce her to friends in France, and to show her the "lockets of love" that I put up for her Unlce George, and Grandma Kat, and her brother.

Then, I will show her the lockets I hung for her sister and her. ( I put them far apart, for "superstitious" reasons).

As I promised my brother, originally that when I do it I won't let it turn into a big maudlin trip full of angst. So she will be meeting up with 2 of the people who kept my spirits up in April/May of 2024.

So if she succeeds I will be overjoyed. If not... I feel the need to ho back anyway and bring more ash, then insist on giving myself a good time?

Anyone want to plan to go to Paris around Spring of 2025? I will take a day of memory, and stop by with flowers a couple of times, but I promised my brother not to me miserable last time, and succeeded.
