Support Tottenham Food Bank! Tomorrow (Sat 9th) Yard Sale Pizza in Tottenham will be having a Slice Day between 12pm and 4pm.

They will be giving out pizza slices (while stock lasts) and collecting donations (card only!) for Tottenham Foodbank. So if you fancy a slice of pizza in exchange for a donation to our local food bank, head over there tomorrow before all the pizza runs out!

According to the Guardian, the old IKEA is set to become a new cultural venue. Entitled Drumsheds, it will host “a carefully curated programme of music, arts, culture and community” according to its owners Broadwick, who are best known for turning a disused printing press in Rotherhithe into the atmospheric clubbing destination Printworks.

Drumsheds will have a capacity of 15,000, making it one of the largest indoor venues in the capital, outstripping the likes of 10,250-capacity Alexandra Palace and 12,500-capacity Wembley Arena.

The venue aims to replicate the post-industrial feel of Printworks, which left printing machinery and other infrastructure intact. “Guests will be able to see the old lift shafts, loading bays, sprawling floors and machinery as they transition through the impressive space,” according to Broadwick. Drumsheds will be reconfigurable, the company says, “with malleable, hybrid areas that will be moulded for multiple purposes”.

The company’s director of strategy, Simeon Aldred, said: “We want Drumsheds, like all the spaces we create, to be new centres of cultural gravity that provide the basis for human connection. A connection that people crave now more than ever.”

There's a new restaurant on Tottenham High Road called Winglab ! We visited today and tried the Korean Fried Wings. They were crunchy, crispy and packed full of flavour.

The interiors are really well thought out too, with a sky lantern flooding in natural light and exposed brick walls.

It's just before the stadium, but past Blue Coats. Opposite (ish) the job centre.

Definitely worth a visit!

We've seen a few comments about our local business crowdfunders that have made us a little uncomfortable.

There does appear to be an assumption that crowdfunding means they are asking for donations to pay for them to open, solely out of the goodness of your heart. (Like charitable donations.) In actual fact you are purchasing goods or an experience from them... Just upfront. Very much like when you buy tickets in advance!

We've put together a brief guide on why we believe you should support local businesses that are raising funds.

Multiple women have repeatedly reported a male flashing them to the Metropolitan Police near the area.

Enough is enough.

The fact the police have not investigated this in an acceptable manner or taken it seriously is one issue, but what can we do to make out streets safe so women don't fear for their life when walking home?

The team behind the Tottenham Marshes Bridge Instagram account have put loads of pressure on councillors at Haringey as well as Network Rail who own the land.

They have asked time and time again to LIGHT UP THE BRIDGE. It is ridiculously dark and dangerous. Visibility is poor and there is not a single CCTV camera... Despite the fact that a serial flasher is on the loose and prolific in that specific area.

Why won't Haringey, Met Police and Network Rail take this seriously?

Why must we wait till there has been a r**e or a murder for them to take note?

After the deeply upsetting death of Sarah Everard, we know her murderer flashed people for years prior to killing.

Again - enough is enough.

Please join us tomorrow (Thurs 14th) at Tottenham Marshes Bridge at 6.30pm at the Carbuncle Passage side to march in solidarity.

Things must change.

New art exhibition in Tottenham! Sistine Chapel's entire ceiling was digitally downloaded from the Vatican, and uploaded to a warehouse in Tottenham.

Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition arrives later this October, using high definition, actual-sized photography of Michelangelo's piece de resistance and printing them onto the walls and ceiling of the Cannon Factory.

A gorgeous sunny afternoon at ! The beer garden is huge, and the venue itself is deceptively large. They even have a function room upstairs which will be available to book for up to 16 guests.

We got a sneak peek at the food menu which should begin sometime in the next 2 weeks.

It's a brilliant addition to Tottenham's pub scene.

Well this is exciting! Beavertown Brewery's Corner Pin pub is FINALLY happening! It's on the corner of Park Lane/Tottenham High Road.

We can't wait to see what they do with the place. So happy to see it go back to its original roots of being a pub.

Rumour has it there might be a roof garden...
