SKP Cultural Media is a Denver-based arts, culture, and media group. We support, develop, promote, amplify, showcase and publish the works of cultural creatives, writers and artists of color, and other underrepresented voices. We align with natural time. We create space for cross-cultural arts experiences and community building. Some Kind of Paradise is an "Ecotopian" philosophy of what is possibl

e in the future. Pop culture has long offered techno-capitalist utopias that are unrealistic, unsustainable, destructive and unjust. Mass Media simultaneously floods the collective consciousness with dystopian fear of the future. Somewhere in-between, or perhaps outside of these stories, is the reality that we live on a beautiful planet, abundant in resources. We can still offer some kind of paradise to future generations... if we choose to usher in an earth-based, socially just, arts-centered era of humanity. We know how important it is to see ourselves in the future. We believe in our futurist contemporaries. Look for the first flood of SKP zines in 2016, the Peoples Future Forum, and the development of our publishing and media platforms.
