Mission Statement
Generations Unlimited is an artist-run music company dedicated to the proponency of dramatic and challenging contemporary music. The movement is deliberately cyclical: many of the artists represented have greatly influenced us an one another, and so we seek to promote their music as a way of contributing to the history of dramatic electronic music for generations to come. en we found disparity and dichotomy between music produced for commercial use and that of music supported by the academic community. Although we attempt to encourage diversity, Generations Unlimited artists have in common the desire to seek out and develop their own syntax of self-discipline and self-expression to create a sort of futuristic and personalized folk art, in a time when many forms of music and related institutions have established confining rules and categories that we have to be limiting. Generations Unlimited primarily focuses on publishing contemporary music, but also actively seeks to be a forum and soundpiece for these artists and the music they compose, as well as to assist in organizing performances for radio broadcasts or concert halls around the world. As we are in existence as a service for the potential audiences of this particular music, we encourage any comments, questions or feedback on our efforts.
