💐 It finally happened! 💐

After decades in Hollywood and hundreds of show-stopping performances, Queen Angela Basset received an Academy Award at this year's 14th Governors Award.

It's long overdue, as Bassett has played some iconic roles including Tina Turner in "What's Love Got To Do With It."

Many will argue she should've won an Oscar for that performance and I agree!
