Another Gen Con in the books. As usual, afterwards, I am energized to get back to work. Planning next year's Workshops, reaching out to some new contacts, updating stuff, making some progress on some games, researching for WYC next spring, and looking for other local Cons, as well as local game shops. Going to be busy!

Gen Con starts tomorrow! We look forward to seeing you all.

If you are wanting to attend one of our workshops, we still have room for our Thursday ones, and very limited room for Saturday. If you want to just show up and use generics, that is cool too. We will probably have room for a few people each session.

Finalizing all the stuff for Gen Con, and we are almost sold out for our workshops.

We have a handful of spots for our Saturday workshops. Strangely our Thursday 11am slot for our Villains workshop still has lots of room. So sign up if you can!

As an alternative, we will be accepting generics as well, so just show up with those!

We are also working on improving Accretion Disk after feedback from Protospiel. Got some good ideas and re-wrote the instructions to make them a bit more clear. Time to order another prototype!

Protospiel was amazing this year. I reconnected with people, met some new people, played a bunch of new games, and got some great feedback and ideas.

Although the Gen Con Catalog is live for booking on May 19th, this Sunday, May 5th, you can search for things you want and put them on your Wish List.

Played a game of Firefly with friends recently. If you ever want to see how to incorporate the theme of a game into the game perfectly, I don't think there is a better example.

Working on redesigns for Accretion Disk. Not only the board, but some streamlining to the game play. Right now, it takes a bit to get going, but once it gets going, it gets crazy fun. I would like to cut down on that "takes a bit".

Also, trying to convey information on the board without making it too busy is becoming a challenge. But we will get there! First step, we change images for the actual board. The multicolor, almost rainbow, was too much and made consistency of presentation too difficult.

At the Hoosier Game Expo, we sold a few House Of Pounce, got some interest in our next Kickstarter, and we played an Expo-long game of Accretion Disk, where the people that stopped by each played a round (if they wanted to, of course).

Accretion Disk update! Based on some feedback, I expanded the board and redesigned the areas.

I will be showing Accretion Disk at the Hoosier Gaming Expo on November 11th at the Indiana State Museum. Come by and see how board games are designed.

Working on Accretion Disk. Unknown alien ship with fantastic tech trapped. 6 other species vie for control of that ship in a daring "rescue" while trying to survive against each other and the black hole.
