I’ve done like five PCH interviews in the last week or so and I capped it off yesterday with a really fun one with Chris Envy of the band Showoff! We talked about the upcoming ep Haverstraw, the importance of timing, taking things as signs and accepting said signs, almost signing to Drive Thru and almost singing with Fall Out Boy, what keeps Showoff fun after all these years and much more!

This one won’t be out for a couple weeks but I promise it’s a good one and I’ll let you know when it’s ready to check out!

Got a fun Arts on Fire for you tomorrow at 5! This week I'll be chatting with guitarist Matt Stubbs of the band GA-20 who will be performing tomorrow night at the Struthers Library Theatre over in Warren. After that we'll get into things with comedian, musician and writer Dave Hill Page who will be in Jamestown next Thursday to perform at National Comedy Center for this years comedy fest. Dave will also be on tomorrow nights Power Chord Hour for an in depth conversation about his band Valley Lodge new record Shadows in Paradise.

Lots of heartwarming stories on this one like Gordon Lightfoot hotboxing a green room, accepting that you’re a procrastinator in your 30’s, leaving good jobs for sh*tty ones, almost fighting Jesse Ventura at a record store and so much more

I have started ANOTHER podcast with my buddy and coworker called “Words and Sentences About Things and Stuff” that just dropped our intro episode!

Each episode we use a word generator to spit out a random word and then hit 60 minutes on the timer and have to form an hourlong conversation around whatever word we are given that episode. The second that timer goes off the show is over even if we’re mid sentence or thought. Zero show prep! They’ve been a blast to do cuz we literally show up, get a random word and just see where that word takes us for an hour.

While not a music pod like PCH, both of us are musicians and work in radio so naturally things go to music a ton! Stoked to get this project out into the world.

Intro episode is out now on our website and the show will start being on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all that jazz very soon. Link in the comments!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of once again chatting to the great for a PCH interview all about Palm Trees and Power Lines (and more!) for its 20th anniversary

As anyone who listens to the show knows, I like a good long form interview and we went over two hours! We really did get into so much and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Huge thank you to Marko for coming back on the show! One of the most fun people to talk with and my god does he have some good rock n roll stories!
