Our Story...

"Nevada Caregiver Support Services" was founded in 2016 by Mr. Brian first became involved with caregiver issues after his father was diagnosed with Dementia in 2013. Two years later, Brian's mother (who was also her husband's primary caregiver) was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and passed away in June 2015. From these experiences, Brian has become a caregiver advocate and encourages paid caregiver employment as a solution to the quietly increasing family caregiver crisis.

Our Story...

"Nevada Caregiver Support Services" was founded in 2016 by Mr. Brian Mertz. Brian first became involved with caregiver issues after his father was diagnosed with Dementia in 2013. Two years later, Brian's mother (who was also her husband's primary caregiver) was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and passed away in June 2015. In September 2018, Brian's father passed away from, "Senile Degeneration of the Brain." From this 5-year caregiver journey, Brian has made it his “life’s mission” to, “publicize caregiver information, promote caregiver products and encourage paid caregiver employment for ALL caregivers.”
