Vector Space Recordings
Vector Space Recordings is a new record label based in London (UK) focusing on melodic techno, tech house and breaks, with an open-minded music policy. Set up by Chris Salt in 2020 both as the main outlet for his new releases and to push exciting new talent, the label aims to get great new music out into the world.
Inspired by the fresh new melodic techno scene and the global growth in techno and tech house, Chris returned from a musical break to write and remix tracks which were signed to Precinct, Lost Language and Solar Storm, with a new remix of Jan Johnston’s classic track, Flesh, out last year. Support for previous tracks came from from the likes of Nick Warren, Sasha, John Digweed, Jody Wisternoff, Quivver, Hybrid, Slacker and Kiss FM.
The record label went from idea to reality after the new subtleties of the new music business became clear. The name ties back to Chris’ time studying mathematics at uni, which is where he played his first DJ set before signing a record contract and playing international gigs from Tokyo and Shanghai to Istanbul, Amsterdam, London and New York. Vector Space Recordings will showcase musical talent from around the world and across different genres.
