We encourage everyone to read this report and figure out how the proposed changes would alter your experience in the neighborhood either for the better or for the worse.

Mayor Bowser is encouraging more residents to move downtown and feedback will be needed to help guide further development of our neighborhood.

The neighborhood is a magnet for visitors.

We visited Puttery recently and enjoyed our evening there. The mini golf themed bar and restaurant is engaging and has plenty of places to take fun photos for an evening out. We snapped a few of the interior and posted them in our review.

We're glad it's here in Penn Quarter and DowntownDC!

Puttery (800 F St NW) opened its doors to Washington DC in late June of this year and we can now say we’ve seen it, done it, and liked it. A mini-golf themed restaurant and bar spanning multiple levels and a broad swath of space now occupies both the former Olivia Restaurant (Nopa and Zola restaur...

Hello Penn Quarterites...the DowntownDC BID is polling residents and workers about how to improve Chinatown-Gallery Place's 7th Street corridor. The survey count is in the mid-300s and we definitely need to have representation from the residential and worker community to boost that number.

Please take a moment to fill out the 10 question survey!

The business environment is very different now than it was in 2019 when the outdoor amplified sound legislation bill was discussed. The pandemic cratered many retail businesses in the Penn Quarter neighborhood but the return to what we once knew could be swift. The status of the bill can be seen here and the (re)introduction can be seen here [PDF] wi...
