This photo was taken when I was 21 at the Lea County (NM) Fair and Rodeo in Lovington, New Mexico. I worked as a news reporter and photographer at the Hobbs (NM) Daily News and I was at the rodeo taking photos for the newspaper. Now, how did I get in the middle of the rodeo clown show??? That clown on the right called me down from the sidelines to be part of this magic trick in front of a stadium full of people!! He announced to the audience that they were going to wrap the bandana around my neck and try not to choke me, so I anticipated that it was about to hurt! However, when I opened my eyes, there was a woman's bra attached to the end of the bandana!! So embarrassing!!! However, it was a very fun moment, even standing in the muddy arena! Sometimes, you just have to get over your fears and just say "Yes!" to make some fun memories and make life thrilling!!
