flux analyzes and questions social norms of identity and progresses alongside time and culture. a new issue of flux comes out roughly every two months, typically online but sometimes in printed editions. flux was started in january of 2015 by ellie brown and shanti moreano. they both were interested in modern and conceptual art but could not find an accessible platform for it in the twin cities. t
hrough merging their ideas and passions together, they created flux. flux is their way of introducing and creating a progressive new media art and fashion scene in minneapolis. flux allows people to create connections and express themselves in a variety of ways. flux is a magazine meant to empower and investigate character and societal patterns. flux is more than a magazine. ellie and shanti plan to host more events, such as the Constant show, in the future and give a chance for people to create a network and community of young, mature artists. flux is only in its first stages and is driven by taking chances.
