There is a population of “street children”, that roam the streets, here in Accra, Ghana. Basically, these children care for themselves, on a day-to-day basis, and do not receive the benefit(s) of any formal education. Yesterday, we visited “Trinity Home Academy” - an orphanage, which has become home to over 100 of Accra’s street children. Our meeting at the orphanage, in partnership with the “Wichita Elder’s Council”, consisted of developing a strategic plan of sponsorship, for the children, currently housed and educated, at Trinity. Typically, housing and schooling, costs about $600 per year, per child. If you, OR your organization, church, mosque, etc., would be interested in a sponsorship opportunity, we would LOVE to hear from you! Please leave us a message!
Also, note that sponsoring a “street child”, is only one of the MANY ways for you to get involved, in Story Fetish’s - Ghana mission and effort! Please STAY on the lookout, for other ways you can get involved! You can do this by visiting our page often, and then by inviting others to “LIKE”, “FOLLOW” and “SHARE” this page! In the words of Sathya Sai Baba, “Hands that help, are much holier than lips that pray.” We thank you 🙏🏾 in advance! -Nana Abena-

All work with no “play” is unhealthy for our well-being.. We should always consider our overall health - mind, body, and spirit. Remember to “retreat” when necessary, in order to rejuvenate these three areas of your person - simultaneously. And, above all remember that LAUGHTER is MEDICINE - a pill to be taken daily! -Nana Abena-
