Let's try this again. It's 24 hours since I left San Francisco International Airport (SFO) for Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) I don't think that I've ever appreciated the Centurion Lounge more than right now.

I'm definitely switching my preferred airline and am very disappointed with how handled this. I'm not faulting them for the 6 hour delay followed by another delay after finally bringing a new plane in (maintenance issues happen and I'd rather be safe), but the customer service was atrocious.

It's been one of the toughest few months, health-wise that I think we've ever been through. Now that there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel we decided we deserve a vacation.

This is one of those times that I wish the internet offered scratch and sniff because there is nothing like curling up in bed enveloped in the scent of Italian Bergamot from my detergent pods and dryer sheets

I am very particular about my sheets and only use beautiful French flax linen, so what I wash them in is extremely important. Not only does Laundry Sauce detergent get them as clean as can be but the beautiful androgynous scent lasts all week long.

Even my picky husband likes it.

Thank you to B Ocean Resort, Fort Lauderdale for the birthday cake in the room when we returned from the concert. Cake in bed is the BEST. What a way to celebrate.

Remember, you don't have to be from out of town to enjoy a staycation. This resort is both iconic and beautiful and a great way to celebrate an occasion like birthdays or anniversaries or to just get away and have a fun weekend.

Self-care is so important and taking a quick break from your usual routine does so much. This has reminded me to come back to the B Ocean more often and leave my stress 2-hours behind...at home. It's my personal therapy choice when I need to decompress.
