Hi all!

I apologize that this page hasn't been active for almost a year. Unfortunately, life has had it's twists and turns but as things green up into spring I am going to try to get back into photography and bring this page back to life. I have a brand new toy that I messed with some last summer and will be using this year to hopefully bring some new perspectives to Vermont.

Today, I had the day off of my day job so I went to Burlington International Airport - BTV to take photos of the arrival of Executive One Foxtrot (EXEC1F) as Dr. Jill Biden visited BETA TECHNOLOGIES in Burlington, VT.

EXEC1F is the call sign for the modified BOEING 757 that the first lady was on today. The plane itself it a BOEING C-32, which is a military passenger transportation version of the 757 for the United States Air Force. It's primary uses are to transport the Vice President, First Lady, and Secretary of State. Executive One is the call sign for any plane that the president is on, but since he wasn't on it they add "F" or "Foxtrot" for family.

Ahead of the landing of EXEC1F, I got a surprise when a BOEING C-17A Globemaster III landed at the airport. The C-17A is a large military transport aircraft that was developed for the United States Air Force. This plane can hold up to 170,900 pounds of cargo, and at maximum payload it needs 8,200 ft of runway to take off and only 3,500 ft to land.
