Add this easy appetizer to your holiday shopping list. All you need is puff pastry, Boursin cheese and fig jam. These are super easy to make and you can use holiday cookie cutters to make cute shapes. 2 sheets puff pastry1/2 cup fig jamBoursin cheese bitesCut each pastry sheet into 9 squares about the same size. Cut the star shapes with a cookie cutter in 9 of the squares. Add fig jam and Boursin bites (about 3 pieces) to each uncut puff pastry square. Top them with the cutout pastry squares. Place them on a baking sheet and bake at 375F for about 15 mins until the pastries are golden brown. Sprinkle with powder sugar and garnish with thyme.

Brie in puff pastry is a perfect thanksgivingappetizer. Filled with pecans and dried cherries, it's an explosion of cheesy, crunchy and sweet all at the same time. Ingredients:2 sheets of puff pastry1 wheel of Brie2 tablespoons chopped dried cherries2 tablespoons chopped pecans2 tablespoons brown sugar1 tablespoon brandy1 egg1 tablespoon milkMake the egg wash by whisking the egg and milk.In a bowl mix the sugar, brandy, cherries and pecans.Place the brie in a puff pastry sheet, leave about a 1 inch border and brush egg wash around the Brie.Add the cherry and pecan mix on top and cover with the other puff pastry. Cut in a circle, press the edges and brush the top with the remaining egg wash.Bake at 350 for about 18-20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.Let it rest for 15-20 minutes and enjoy
