New to rad burger loaded tater tots 3 cheese blend , sriracha, ranch , spring onion chive , smoked bacon bits Great value at £8. Food score 7/10 they were very good but nothing is beating them katsu loaded fries !! They slap hard 😍one I’d love to see you do ( just an idea ) is garlic butter tots with ranch , Parmesan , crispy chicken skin 😋😋 ( the big chef special )

I was in whitstable so I had to pop in to for a shake , I was recommended the daim milkshae and damnnn this was a winner winner ! Loving the new packaging !! Looks proper sharp and smart You may not agree but I believe please sir and chuck and blade do the tastiest shakes !! Anyways Just showing some love.

Fish and chips by the sea. Ft who doesn’t love a seaside chippy. A good Fish and chips will always put a smile on my face unless it’s rubbish , it’s like the cinema and the smell of popcorn its just rather nostalgic

Nepalese style chicken (24 hrs marinated ) then grilled with dumplings then topped with chilli oil and crispy onions !!! This was tasty !! 😍 I do love dumplings.

THE MEAT SHACK FOLKESTONE HARBOUR 📍Who doesn’t love gravy and chips !!!! And adding to the sexual tension throw in some soft , melt in the mouth beef 😍. (Slow cooked for 15 hours ) My god this was soo good !!! If your ever down Folkestone see for yourself I believe it was £10 and man this will leave your belly full and your face like a Cheshire Cat !!! BEEFY CHIPPY GRAVYYYY GOODNESS this was the guvnor and il be back for sure !!!

So I went to check Canterbury 📍 first time out and it was actually quite nice , I had the teriyaki chicken and the sweet chilli chicken with noodles Price range £11 fills you up but maybe a tad expensive and considering it’s a chain buffet restaurant not bad quality. 7/10. Worth a shout if you want warm food quick, great customer service

Dre’s Caribbean .whitstable Now the smells coming from the kitchen were incredible I opted for the jerk chicken rice and peas. The flavour from this jerk was really nice a subtle kick but nothing majorly spicy , rice was really good flavoursome and fluffy as a pillow but this dished craved some some sort of jerk sauce just so you could break up that chicken and give it a good ol’ mix up it just lacked that I found , the star of the show was the beef Pattie !!!! Wow !! That was insanely good !! At about £19 it wasn’t the cheapest so value for money I’d say 6.9/10. With the food I’m going 7/10 And lastly that Pattie gets its own special mention because that was a 9.3/10 If you know any Caribbean spots that I gotta hit up message me or drop a comment below.

Rate or slate. PART 2 My top 4 slated wings at wingfest London 23
1. Poor boys CINAMMON churro wing
2. Bone daddies both wings
3. Thunderbirds lil jerk
4. Filthy wings
Let’s start with what I saw as some of the not so good wings at wingfest , firstly poor boys churro wing this was not good at-all the balance was so out of sync, far too sweet , too much cinnamon added and you know you’ve added to much when you taste the powdery taste of the cinammon but this also comes from potentially comes from it just been thrown into a sauce, there’s being a maple syrup and bacon sweet but this was missing a lot it needed different elements or revamping elements to even make this tasty but that wasn’t the case and yeah
This was poor from poor boys .
Then Bone daddies were put second but this is on par with poor boys , the chicken was soggy and limp , soulless and devoid of any sort of tlc that great chicken deserves !
If this was fried product then it needs adjusting because the wing had no bake or crunch on it .
That was like finding a 10/10
On tinder meeting and getting catfished from some 80 year old .
Then thunderbirds this did not taste anything remotely jerk atall !! There was nothing to it !
No kick no punch ! It was accompanied but just some diced pineapple on top even that looked like it had no love and care put into it .
It gave me so much promise with the artwork because I love lilt and it left me very disheartened.
And lastly filthy wings the special wing did not work there was nothing to this wing it gave me no emotional reaction what do ever !
Now I think these 4 have certainly got up their game for next year and I’m sure 2024 wing fest will be even bigger and better .

All bringing their own and unique take on a chicken wing this year and all of them produced a contender over the course of the two days and it was a pleasure to try them all .
I’m sure 2024 wing fest will be even bigger and better .
