Silk Road has birthed a lot of light hearted energy and enjoyment from everyone listening to it around the world. But the energy in the Armenian community has been so heavy over the past year with the perpetuation of cultural erasure. This is not only at the genocidal hands of Azerbaijan and Turkey but also within Armenia’s own government. Darone and I have both felt a lot of weight with the Silk Road release to use it as a platform to lift up the Armenian people’s voice. Through our conversation here, I hope to share with our audience Darone's thoughts on what will deepen understanding of the current state of Armenia in 2022 and how the events of 2020 set this dark shift in Armenian history.

Announcing the eighth release on Terrestrial Funk. Coral Morphologic is the brainchild of Jared McKay and Colin Foord. A mending of minds, the arts, science, and the sea. Their lab in Miami lies close to the Florida Reef just offshore; the third largest coral barrier reef system in the world. This album composed by Jared echoes the voice of the reef. A reflection of its cosmic connection to our moon. A departure from the earth into deep space. We often wonder what intelligent life exists outside of our own aquatic world. Look and listen to the synchronous celestial satellites and the endless love song they sing.
