DID YOU KNOW? … in 1775, the h**p crop made its first appearance on Clarks Run Creek, located near Danville, KY. Because this crop was not native to Kentucky at the time, it had to be imported from New England and other European countries. The fiber from the h**p crop was originally used for homespun items such as twine, rope, thread and textiles. H**p's popularity began to grow dramatically between 1790 and 1800 when settlements began to evolve into more organized enterprises.
During the early 1800s, Kentucky was considered a leader in the production and exportation of h**p and began to manufacture products from it. With a great amount of seed, came large amounts of fiber which was then spun into rope at locations known as “ROPEWALKS”. These areas were outdoor spaces where h**p fibers were spun in order to make this sturdy rope. By 1809, Kentucky was producing bailing materials for the entire South. Mills on Lower Howards Creek, located near Hall's on the River, were associated with the h**p rope production and shipped their products out of Holder’s Station to downriver.
The growth of h**p in the U.S. during the 19th Century dwindled with the availability of cheaper imported fibers from Manila and the East India Company. During War II, however, the Japanese took possession of the Philippines and the East India Company, and since jute supply from India was also restricted, the Americans had to produce h**p once again, for industrial purposes as well as to sustain the vast demand from the US Army and Navy. Rope made from h**p was used in rigging, towing and mooring the ships, paratroopers needed webbing for their parachutes and the h**p fiber was even used to make shoes for the soldiers. **p **phistory

The year is 1914. The years of WWI and the farmers who grew "h**p" in exchange for U.S. dollars.. Keep this in mind and keep reading.
Industrial h**p isn't just an agricultural plant.
It's the antidote to oil and the dollar.
HOW WAS H**P BANNED?
✅1. One acre of h**p produces as much oxygen as 25 acres of forest.
✅2. Again, one acre of h**p can produce the same amount of paper as 4 acres of trees.
✅3. While h**p can be turned into paper 8 times, wood can be turned into papers 3 times.
✅4. H**p grows in 4 months, wood grows in 20-50 years.
✅5. Cannabis is a real radiation trap.
✅6 Cannabis can be almost grown anywhere in the world and it requires very little water. Plus, as it can repel insects, it doesn't need pesticides.
✅7. If textiles made with h**p become widespread, the pesticide industry could disappear completely.
✅8 The early jeans were made from h**p; even the word "KANVAS" is the name H**p products receive.
H**p is also an ideal plant for making ropes, laces, purses, shoes and hats.

In 18th-century America, its production was mandatory and the farmworkers who didn't produce were imprisoned. But now the tables have turned. FROM WHERE?
👎-W. R. Hearst owned newspapers, magazines and media in the United States in the 1900s. They had forests and produced paper. If the paper had been made from h**p, it could have lost millions.
👎- Rockefeller was the richest man in the world. He owned an oil company. The biofuel, h**p oil, was, of course, their biggest enemy.
👎-Mellon was one of the major shareholders of the Dupont Company and had a patent to manufacture plastics from petroleum products. And the cannabis industry threatened its market.
Mellon later became President Hoover's Treasury Secretary. Those big names we talked about decided in their meetings that cannabis was the enemy, and they removed it. Through out the media, they have engraved ma*****na into people's brains as a toxic drug, along with the word ma*****na.
Cannabis drugs were removed from the market, replacing them with the chemicals in use today.
Forests are cut to produce paper.
Pesticide poisoning and cancer are on the rise.
And then we fill our world with plastic trash, harmful waste..

This week molecule of the week is Cannabicyclol AKA CBL. Another of the non-psychoactive cannabinoid which is a degradation product of CBC after being exposed to radiation in the form of light. It therefore is found in higher concentration in older plant material which has been left out I the light. The the formation of two separate carbon-carbon bonds between the isoprenyl groups of CBC makes it bicyclic.
The fact CBL is a degradation product, means that a strain found high in it has more than likley been stored for a very long time, even years! It has also been found that hash which has been stored for long periods has higher levels of CBL than raw plan material its self.

CBL is another of the lesser known phytocannabiniods and was originally named THC-III, but after x-ray analysis it was later found to be more closely related CBC than THC. Very little is documented about this compound and its biological profile, other than the fact that it is not psychotropic.

CBL is a bit like that great, great uncle that we have heard about, but no one actually knows anything about him other than he fought in the war. He stays very quiet, but then will surprise us with his immense knowledge about how they live in Burma and hopes that the future generations never experienced anything like he saw. Man of international mystery.
More research on these compounds and their therapeutic effects is therefore needed.
