The City of Gold Coast is attracting the brightest in tech to call the vibrant city their HQ.

I spent the last week at the Singapore Airshow, which is the powerhouse event of APAC in all things aviation, in particular I was concentrating UAV and AAM operations and development.

I had the pleasure of catching up with Wisk Aero Asia Pacific Regional Director Catherine MacGowan at the show. Wisk will be a big part of AAM leading into our 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

I met with Asa Quesenberry of Japanese Veritport Company Skyscape Vertiports, Eve Air Mobility's Rob Weaver and had the pleasure of meeting Johann C. Bordais, the dynamic CEO of Eve Air Mobility and sitting in one of their prototype aircraft.

Arnaud Coville chief Development Officer of Japan's SkyDrive Inc. was at the EVTOL Insights . Thanks to Jason Pritchard for hosting a great event at Raffles.

Flying the flag for Queensland on the Australia stand was Kellie Banditt of Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport and the team from Wagner Corporation.
