One of the best things you can do to help authors is write an honest review.

Reviews are huge!

Amazon's search algorithm is more likely to show potential customers a book that has reviews over one that doesn't. And customers are much more likely to take a chance on a book that they see being read and reviewed by others.

Even negative reviews help! Obviously, authors would prefer 5 stars and for everyone to love their work, but it is unrealistic to think you can please everybody. An honest negative review gives credibility to all the other reviews. Plus, your honest feedback will give the authors guidance on how to improve.
