Dundalk FC have released artistic impressions of what they envision for the future of Oriel Park.

They are looking to develop a high-quality modern Category 3 League of Ireland Stadium with a capacity in the region of 6,000.

New dressing rooms, referees’ rooms, media facilities, doping rooms, meeting rooms, offices, etc are also part of the club's plans.

🏟 Derry City have had planning permission approved for the Brandywell's new North Terrace!

The Candystripes will fund the £2 million project themselves with construction set to start shortly after the domestic season concludes next month.

The stand will be able to hold 2,940 people, which will bring the venue's capacity to 6,242. It is expected to be complete by next May/June.

It is hoped with this upgrade that the Brandywell could host Third Round European matches in the future, as the club explore the possibility of adding railed seating to the stand.

Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers both have ongoing annual draw campaigns to raise funds for their new stadiums.

Both stadiums are crucial for the development of the LOI in the North West.

Construction officially got underway to complete the North Stand at Tallaght Stadium today. The structure is expected to be complete by July 2023.

Finn Harps have published revised plans for the Donegal Stadium.

The capacity will now be 6,130 with all sides covered.

This includes 2,800 standing on covered terracing (1,400 behind each goal) with 3,300 seated along both sidelines which comprises of 1,930 on West Stand (current structure) and 1,400 on the East Stand.

The new-look stadium is expected to come in at a total cost of €8m compared to a previous estimated cost of €11.5m.

Harps are hopeful to move into the new stadium before the start of the 2024 LOI season.

Galway United's new proposed Training Facility (will be on same grounds as Connacht Hockey):

- Construction of single two storey sports centre including dressing rooms, gym, canteens, meeting rooms, offices, toilets, storage areas and ancillary rooms.

- Creation of three grass based football pitches and three astro based football pitches plus associated storage facilities and floodlighting.

- Creation of two fully enclosed football astro pitches.

- Creation of a fully enclosed football dome including dressing rooms and seating facilities.

- Creation of embankment for hill training.

The site will be located at Mountain South, Anthenry in Galway. There will also be some facilities for hockey and other sports.

If this goes through Galway United will have possibly the best football training facility in the country!

The demand for LOI Football is returning!

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed they have sold over 3,250 season tickets.

Bohemian FC have sold as many season tickets and memberships as they could under the current Dalymount capacity.

Shelbourne FC have confirmed they have their highest number of season ticket holders in 2022 than ever before.

Finn Harps have also had record Season ticket sales.

Future Ticketing predict a record 600,000 in attendance across the season.

Bohemian FC have released their new away jersey for this season ahead!
This time Bohs have secured the rights to use Bob on their jersey as part of their collaboration with the Bob Marley Foundation and it commemorates the singer's last ever outdoor gig which was at Dalymount Park.

Ten percent of the profits from the shirt will be used by Bohemian Football Club to purchase musical instruments and football equipment to provide to people in Asylum Centres across Ireland.
