Amid the persistent and continually rising social issues at UW- System Schools and around the state of Wisconsin, the UW-BlackOut Movement was created to be the leading effort of change in serving all communities. It is the goal of the UW-BlackOut Movement to bring about a more diverse and inclusive and culture in the populations of UW-System's Schools: students, faculty, staff and administration as well as members of their surrounding local and state communities.
