Gift Art House The GIFT Art Program is a part of the Catalyst action plans as designated by the Marlborough Community Coalition.

The GIFT Art Program serves four communities in the Kansas City area and one in the Lee’s Summit/Greenwood area. The GIFT Art Program is the Marlborough Coalition’s initiative towards developing a permanent center by which to serve the liberal arts needs of the community. The GIFT Art Program was founded by Bonnye Brown and initially served students in the Lee’s Summit/Greenwood area. In 2014 the

GIFT Art Program expanded its footprint to serve the needs of persons on the Kansas City area as sponsored by the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department. The GIFT Art Program has included classes for students in pre-school, elementary, high school, and senior citizens ranging in age from 3 to 88 years old. Class topics cover the fundamentals of drawing, painting, and holiday crafts. The GIFT Art Program’s mission is to identify new and creative ways of bringing the communities together through the medium of art.
