Holding on to anger is hard but look at the effects!
By Shaykh Abdurrazzaq al-Badr
Sometimes applying noble character is felt bitter by the human soul, for example, is the application of the words of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), "A strong person is not one who is good at wrestling but a strong person is one who is able to restrain anger." (H.R. Bukhari no. 6114 and Muslim no. 2609)
Being able to withstand anger is a noble character that is not capable of everyone. People who are still learning to practice this character must feel the bitterness. His heart will rebel and say, "That person said rude to me!", "That person spoke nonsense about me, Then I just kept quiet and didn't reply?!"
This is sometimes hard for the heart but when he is able to decorate with this character he will get the sweet taste after the bitter, he will feel he has won over his soul, and won over his opponent, because he has been decorated with this noble character earlier.
Another positive impact, it could be that the opponent will imitate this noble character so that this character can be spread in the midst of society.
Then when will this noble character spread among humans if everyone is rude, uncivilized, not gentle, not compassionate, and no one wants to have noble character?
