I'm devastated. Ireland is devastated. Sinead O'Connors recent autobiography and film highlighted just how ahead of her time she was and got vilified for it. 'Was'. I can't believe I typed that. I'm utterly lost for words. Gutted. Rest easy now with your beloved son, Shane, Sinead. You had to endure so much. One thing that is definite - that pure, soaring, powerful voice of yours will remain forever. R.I.P 💔💔

Getting to present on this station LMFM, one that I remember launching and growing up with, was one of the highlights of my year.

Being a Meath gal, this was the station that as a teen, myself and my school mates in the 90's used to phone in our requests for a show called 'Radio Romance'. Or even better, tune in and get one called out for you. 🙈 It was a very innocent fun time. ☺️

My dear mother used to have it on constantly on the radio in the kitchen. I can see her now. Shushing us when the news came on and further singing. She loved it before she passed in the mid 00's. I know she would have been buzzing like I was over last week. I felt her there. 🥰

Here's to a New Year, where we can all try and make our dreams come true.

Never stop believing in yourself.
You are enough. ✨️❤️
