Y’all seem to like the about me posts so here’s another one!

Many of you know who I am- and some know who my wife is. We’ve been together since senior year of high school ( almost 12 years), we dated long distance through college and studying abroad, traveled around the world, planned a wedding together through the thick of a global shut down, started our own businesses, held each other in the midst of earth shattering losses, moved states, bought and renovated a home and been each others biggest supporter whenever we can.

Marrying your best friend is the best thing in the world. Your days are more fulfilled, the hard things get easier and things just seem to work out even when you can’t seem to figure out how they did.

Epoch wouldn’t be where it is without the support of my wife. As most things go, there is a lot of sacrifices made to do what I do and travel as much as I do and she handles it like a rockstar.

What’s the point of this post?

I truly hope everyone finds their soulmate because I sure as hell found mine

I wanted to hop on here and share a few photos that’s not typical of my feed. I get the question a lot about “How did you become a photographer?” And the answer is pretty simple.

I kinda just fell into it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Growing up my brothers, friends and so played outside. We got our hands on a camera and kinda just filmed when we thought we were doing something cool. Come high school I took our news network class- mainly because it was an easy way to get credits and the teacher let me come late as long as I brought him food. I took that class for three years and learned enough to where it applied to what is now my career.

I mainly picked up a camera again 4 years after high school because I simply felt like I was doing so many cool things and I didn’t want to forget those moments. I remember seeing so many people complain about life and I felt like if I could post one photo or video from something I was able to do and make someone have a little bit more hope that there is fun and memories to make them I’d be stoked.

These days I think the same, but what I do is even more important. These moments I am capturing now will last people their lifetimes and possibly beyond. I can be the person that makes someone smile with something I captured years from now and that’s where all of the joy in the job comes from. That all though a moment has passed, it can live on as a viewable memory in the years to come.

Keep living for the good times friends- this life has millions of them❤️
