As the owner of a Talent Management company, Rule number one with talent if you ever want to be successful when first starting out is DONT GET POLITICAL!! When you speak openly about things like the Presidency, Ukraine, Israel Palestine, you alienate potential fans that might follow you. This includes putting up dumb memes like “I just got my taxes done and I owe $1000 to Ukraine”. You look dumb! Anytime I see it, I won’t work with them. If you are a musician without a music deal or still playing in sh*tty bars, give vague answers or none at all. So for all the people who are going to tell me Taylor Swift does and she has a lot of fans, she did not get political until 2016 or after when she was already making millions of dollars. You are only sabotaging yourselves.
