My Family has been thinking about Seymour quite a bit, how he was such a presence in our home and how we all really miss him. We put the Christmas tree up last night and that was one of Seymour’s favorite things to do. He used to “Manage & Inspect” as we worked,to be sure it was done right and then afterwards he’d always sit under the tree with his approval - or maybe it was Non-Approval… One thing he most definitely did love about the tree was the skirt - which for the whole Christmas season became his litter box… we have several that I’d have to wash and alternate … we’re really going to miss him during this season- it still feels so empty without him.🎄🎄🎄🍕🧡

We miss him so much, We’ve spent the week crying for Seymour while struggling with emergency personal issues…⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
~Some of you may not know ,but this past year has been a hard one for our family. CatDad had a stroke last June and was the sole provider for our family, he has not been able to work since then and while I (HuMom) take care of him and the family , and now am working with my oldest boys , still have not been able to bring home equal to what we had before. Our home has been foreclosed and we have til aug 1 to vacate. Last Friday we were served papers for that and Saturday we lost Seymour … it has been a rough year and a horrible week … we currently have a GoFundMe set up and it’s in the link in my bio on my personal page we would appreciate absolutely any amount towards the goal , and even just sharing it. Also - thank you for all the wishes and condolences for Seymour . We just miss him more than words can express. Tricia , HuMom

Seymour turned 14 in March… back in the day we always made big posts about it, but this year he wasn’t really into the paparazzi. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE COMMENTS AND CONDOLENCES on the previous post. I am reading thru slowly and will respond - it’s just that there’s so many nice things about Seymour that I just can’t stop crying. Today our home is so different without him , he isn’t in his usual hang outs , he’s not tapping someone for whatever is so important to him, he’s not birdwatching…. He’s not asking for his food bowl to be an extra high mountain or he won’t eat it …. But I do see all the comments and I appreciate each one more than you can realize - I’ll just need a little minute . The Cat, the King , the Myth, the Legend…. Has Found his way to the rainbow bridge. Seymour was an avid traveler,a pizza connoisseur, an excellent dresser and an expert at everything. He had a sense of humor and loved kittens …the outdoors was where he enjoyed being And where he hung out with a pet deer, a pig , a pug and our other cats . He knew how to tap in Morse code & was probably even a spy for all we know, he loved the beach and bird watching. He never got tired of a good ol catnip toy… He liked being the boss and bossing our other pets around .He ruled us and he knew it and he liked it. Darn, he ruled the world , or at least Texas. I’m sure he’s ordering pizza for everyone who’s waiting for him at the rainbow bridge right now because I can’t find my debit card… We still can’t stop crying ,our hearts and home have a big hole in it today. He was so loved from the time we brought him home 14 years ago as a tiny bright little furry ball ,to his very last breath. Our whole family sat with him in his last moments, reminding him of all his escapades & the love and fun he brought to us and how loved he was. He didn’t want to leave yet and fought hard to stay with us as long as he did. Seymour was just one of those guys that you know you’ve been so lucky to have known. There is so much more to say about him but I can’t think right now-and it’s hard to write thru so many tears.Seymour was truly human I’m convinced and more a part of our family than can be imagined.
